I think you were looking for are called "honey spoons." Honey made into a hard candy like substance that you stir into tea.

OP here and thanks everyone. I thought the honey sticks would be a good way to keep honey at the office without attracting bugs. And great advice about biting - I never thought of that.

Honey sticks are more intended for a snack (bite and suck it out) though you could try to bite it open and squeeze it out. I'd just buy a bottle of honey and save the sticks for snacks, etc.

You can cut and squeeze, but I wouldn't use them for tea. We eat them like candy as a treat. Usually get them at the Apple orchard or at a country store when travelling.

When biting open, put the hard, melted side up and down between your teeth and bite.

My kids love these as a sweet treat.

Pop one end with your fingers or teeth, then squeeze it out.

So, I've been using honey lately to sweeten my coffee/tea and bought these honey sticks.[url]https://jet.com/product/detail/2fb43628d0d24ad7a0dea2b41a8bae42?jcmp=pla:bng:nj_appliances:appliances_small_appliances:naLA_276113090_1222656946064014_{productgroupid}:na:na:na:2&code=PLA15&pid=kenshoo_int&c=276113090&is_retargeting=true&clickid=088d0b94-c99c-4a68-934c-b300b88dbe02[url] I naively thought they were actual honey sticks that would dissolve if you put them in your hot beverage, but they are actually encased in plastic.
When i cut them with scissors, the scissor blades get all sticky with honey and they have actually become more of a pain to use than a regular jar of honey.

Anyone with experience have an easier/cleaner way to open these honey sticks? Any tricks of the trade?
