I work for the DC Govt. and sometimes the level of sheer incompetence that you see is just depressing. There are some good people, of course.

Working for DC Govt is a little different than Federal. It can be a little rougher on the edges, so take that into consideration. DC is not just any city and has many "State" or "Quasi-Federal"-level services, so you may want to familiarize yourself with the details before interviewing.

Has anyone interviewed for a high level DC govt position? Panel interview for first interview? Are the questions typically technical and specific or benign? Any thoughts. Thanks
