Yep, it's a non-timed test. All students get as much time as they want.

Agree with PP's. Map is an I timed test that can be taken over multiple sessions. My daughter started it on Monday, and was given extra time on Tuesday to finish.

He can take however long he wants for MAP. It is an untimed test.

My son with an incredibly slow processing speed (and an IEP) does his MAP tests in several days - his last reading one took more than a week, since he could only continue in bits and pieces, not in his English class. He got 245 or something, less than what he had before, because he couldn't concentrate that well toward the end, since it was so choppy. But that's another problem.

MAP is self-timed, isn't it?

DS has an IEP that reads "will be given extra time for tests"

He was given extra time during PARRC but _not_ during MAP.

Any idea(s) of why this would be?

(I will ask teacher but...)
