Now to be clear, I'm no fan of Spencer. He's a pro-choice Atheist and a low-brow racist. That being said, I don't understand why his gym membership was revoked. What did he do to get it revoked? I know you guys probably think he's a piece of trash, but why should one's political/social views get one's membership at a gym revoked? He even tried to avoid the situation by telling this Georgetown professor that he was not Richard Spencer. If anything, I think it's the professor who should have her membership revoked. Just ridiculous.

The gym certainly has the right to do it. I just don't understand why they did it. Before long, Right-wingers will have to establish private gyms exclusively for Right-wingers.
OP, right-wingers are welcome at any gym. Richard Spencer is not "a right-winger".
I think the gym could have taken a courageous stand and kept him on. However, their business model is increasing the number of satisfied gym-goers, not reducing it. So they kicked out the problematic gym-goer.

You really don't understand why? Because they don't want to be associated with Nazis. If the KKK grand master or whatever he's called worked out there, they'd probably want to ban him too. Not sure why you think that all "right wingers" would end up being banned -- I lean conservative but am neither a Nazi nor a racist.

Let's just go ahead and let the flyover states secede already.
