Impressed. Nursing is a hard job that takes caring and courage. Respect.

Unless they are an LNP, i figure they dont makenmuch money, work shitty hours and don't have much flexibility. I'm basically glad it's them, not me.

I think "I wonder if you get high before you go to work, like a woman I know."

That they have a tough and essential job - they have my respect. Of course there was that one nurse who came into my hospital room at the crack of dawn and told me my baby was going to die and then rushed out of the room, but... she must be the bad apple.

I feel gratitude since I've generally had very positive experiences with nurses. There is nothing better when you feel like crap or wake up after surgery and there is a caring nurse trying to help you feel better. I could never do what they do.

Jealous because I wanted to go into the field.

That they have a really hard job with zero autonomy or flexibility.

They are awesome. They work really hard. And now I see why she looked like a zombie at the grocery store because she starts her workday at 4:30. That's after getting showered, dressed, and driving.

I think it depends on the type of nurse. My opinions can range from, "whoa! smart cookie!" to "he/she probably smoked a lot of weed in high school and barely got through community college."

But in general, I think they're underpaid for the heavy lifting they do.

Smart and hard working. Usually someone who didn't want a desk job as a career. I actually think RNs are usually underpaid relative to how hard they work.

Lucky, you can pick whatever days you want to work, can work only weekends if you want. Pay is pretty decent.

I think...

"Part of this person's job is to ask others for their urine."

Saw the teacher thread and thought I'd ask the same, but for nurses.
