What are conditions? What height?
Skip laurel aren't hugely expensive, grow well in sun, are evergreen, thick (if you're hoping to hide views) and don't require much care once established.
(We put some in about 5 years ago and they're over 8 feet tall now)

I like hydrangeas. Mountain laurel is a good border shrub.

look on "fast growing trees" website. I have bought lavender and some forsythia from them. they note your location so you don't accidentally buy something that won't thrive in the climate you live in.
And their plants arrive in good condition, well packed and easy to plant.
