So I went to TJ, but don't include it on my resume. Should I?

No, that's ridiculous unless they are a recent college grad.

Because it's a signal to other alumni in the case of the private schools and also a few public magnet schools (Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, TJ, etc.).

Anyone w one if those hs or sports programs might put it in from Hs days. Choate, Exeter, St. Paul's, Harvard westlake, Long Beach poly, dalton, etc. Thisr are all proxies for a few characteristics....

In which case, you should know when your resume is going to said person and only put it on that one. Anyone else who sees it will think your an ass.

I think people who write "your an ass" are asses.

Because other people from that HS care about their Hs and might be more inclined to interview that person. That's how private school alumni networks go.

I think that's for the other alumni. There's probably a secret handshake too.

OK, so you graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in 1988. How is the even relevant to your career credentials in 2017? I just want to toss the resume in the circular file for that reason alone.
