PP here. I don't have any babies anymore and I never used powder. I think videos are funny.

Call me trashy if you want but the first time my infant DD gave me the bird, I thought it was the funniest thing ever.

I'd had a difficult time emotionally during my pregnancy, constantly thinking I'd made a terrible decision to have a child and had ruined DHs life as well as my own. This was capped off by a two day labor with an epidural that only worked on one side and finally a vacuum assisted delivery that I felt every moment of, including the resulting tearing. DD had to be taken away immediately to be checked as she'd passed meconium in utero and had shown signs of distress towards the end of labor. 10 minutes later, they finally brought my beautiful baby to me and placed her on my chest. She promptly snuggled in and gave me the bird with her hand resting ever so gently on my chest. At that moment, I knew, yep, this is my kid, this is the kid I'm meant to have and DH and I lost it laughing. Yes, it was probably the sleep deprivation and endorphins that made it so funny but it was still the moment of leavity we needed at that time and we still crack up about it.

The mommy wars are everywhere.

There are two kinds of moms:

Infants and babies? I don't think anything of this st all since I assume they are playing with their fingers and have no clue. It probably doesn't even register to me as the middle finger. I must be in a third category. DH would definitely find it funny. Do you think there are two kinds of fathers?
