So your saying you would prefer your family show more outward signs of disfunction?

If you feel that you are not ready to go on with family life, speak up and say "I'm still processing some of the things that were said during the big argument. A lot of things were said in the heat of the moment and I need to think about them. I appreciate everyone giving me a little space. Thanks."

Not everyone has the same emotional needs you do, however. Your need to process does not outweigh others' need to reconnect and feel strong in their relationships after conflict.

Good God, you sound like the one and only problem.

They seem to have found a healthy way of resolving conflict & now you come along, armed with your unhealthy, drama filled, passive-aggressive advice.

Geez, you're the last person that should be dispensing advice about anything... EVER.

Drama queen.

Yeah, like stewing is so healthy and mature.

Blaming everyone else, huh, OP? Maybe they have reflected enough and you are the resentful problem.

If they listen and come to an agreement and implement it all in one go I'd say that's excellent conflict resolution.

But if it's a show or half are ignoring everything and then later the passive aggressiveness kicks in and the issue continues and continues, is call BS.

I grew up in a household that both reacts and processed issues quickly, then moved on. The key why it worked was ppl listened, apologized and the mistake did not repeat (internalized the issue).

Good luck!

What in the heck are you arguing about?
We have nothing to argue about, not really.

We'll have a serious argument then hours later things are fine. I think they aren't taking the argument seriously enough. They should stew for a day or two. Reflect on what has transpired. Then maybe they'll be more inclined to think better next time.
