OP here, thanks for the suggestions! And the whole reason I posted this was because Manchester By the Sea popped up on Prime and I googled it. Nope! Though I am sure it is a lovely film.

Hopefully this was a joke. OP said she has a low tolerance for sadness. This movie isn't just sad, it's outright depressing (albeit excellent).

Sully is on now and I thought it was pretty compelling for a story where you know the ending. It was very uplifting and held my interest till the end.

I think I will have enough time to watch a whole movie by myself tonight. I have a pretty low tolerance for violence, slap stick or gross humor, and trauma/sadness. I would like to be entertained. If it isn't a kids movie produced in the last 3-4 years I probably haven't seen it. I have Prime and Netflix but I will also pay!
