Had my first at 32 and yeah, the years can just run out if you're trying for multiple kids before late 30s. If you have a c-section, that's a year's wait right there. Then if it takes 8 months again to conceive (and it usually takes longer as you get older)...then if you have a miscarriage and have to heal and wait again to try...etc. Not that it never works out, just that there's more risk and the stakes feel higher with time running out... downside of not getting started in my 20s knowing that I wanted at least 3.
