Me again. Our best friends' daughter is named Naleia, and she pronounces it Na-lay-a, or goes by Leia (Lay-a).

Uh, I think this is one of those names that could have several pronunciations depending on how its owner or her parents decided to say it. If you want to name your kid Kaleia, and pronounce it the way you like, then do that. I give you permission!

I read it as kah-lay-ah, since Leia is pronounced lay-ah but everyone is pronouncing it kah-lee-ah.
