It seems like there is a major racism-fueled incident at AU every month. Which got me thinking: why are there so many racist incidents at AU? Is it because AU is a safety school for wealthy kids who are looking for a four year vacation in Spring Valley as opposed to an education? Is it because AU's students are looking for a commuter school experience in the big city?
Is it the school's historic United Methodist background? I don't get it. AU seemed like a nice school, but now it seems like it's full of racist assholes.
It's like the Baylor of DC.
I graduated form AU in the 90's. Thanks for letting me know you think my education sucks.
I definitely don't remember incidents like this when I was there.

I also went to a higher $$$ private college; the more money that is around, the more the racists will abound. That's my personal experience as a white person.
Trump's election has made the uber-jerk racists much more willing to go out and be openly racist in public and not just near their friends or frat bros.

Another AU grad here.
OP: just GTFO.
In the late 80s, AU students protested until AU divested from any financial interest or dealings with the then-Apartied government of South Africa.
When Georgetown students attempted similar protests, they were immediately arrested, ejected from campus, and threatened with expulsion.
AU is not racist, does not tolerate racism, nor does it have many racist students.
The only racism I witnessed on campus back then was a scattered low key hatred between the few Israeli students and fewer Gulf state Arab students - and even that was limited to crude graffiti scribbled on the toilet stalls in the basement of the SIS building.
What's your problem, OP?
