We have done Chef Mickey's, O'hana, Tusker House, and the Princess brunch, and hands down Tusker House wins. Chef Mickey's is fun for younger kids, but mine all loved Tusker House, and I would agree that the food is by far the best. We went for lunch, and it was definitely a highlight.

I love Chef Mickey's but it is a crowded mess plus the food isn't all that great but you can't beat the atmosphere, the characters, location. Crystal Palace is a nice place but does he really want Winnie the Pooh? Tusker House might be the best option.

My kids loved Garden Grill at Epcot. Lots of characters and the restaurant rotates which they thought was awesome.

Ohana was our favorite in terms of the level of character involvement. Tusker House had excellent food and fabulous characters, but we were seated in a terrible location so it diminished the experience. To be fair, I think there may only be 4 "bad" tables in the whole place so possibility of being seated at one like we were is pretty slim!

I'm a vegetarian and the food was DELICIOUS! My kids liked it too!

We also like Tusker House at Animal Kingdom - that gets you Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. And the food is good. And the location is good - there's a lot of walking and outdoor stuff at Animal Kingdom, of course, and it's a nice respite with above average food in air conditioning. Also pricey, but aren't they all.

My kids at 3 and 6 liked the Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom - decent buffet, but the characters are Winnie the Pooh. For my kids it was great but definitely would depend on the kid's interests.

I like breakfast at Crystal Palace in the MK, although a 6 yo might not be into the Winnie the Pooh characters. It's a very pretty setting and not a madhouse like Chef Mickey's. Schedule either the first pre-opening slot (usually 8am) or one of the last breakfast seatings (probably 10:15ish). Tusker House is also appealing as it's better/more interesting food than some of the other lunch/dinner buffet options.

Ditto the rec for Tusker House in Animal Kingdom.

Chef Mickeys is fine, but my sons prefer Tusker House. Garden Grill in Epcot is good as well, and if you get a reservation before the park opens you can get onto Soarin' right when the park opens without needing to wait in line or having a fast pass, which is a huge pluls.

Depends on the child. Mine had no interest at that age. I'd probably do the pirate activity if you want to do something.

Planning for a six year old boy. Was looking at Disney Express at Contemporary but am intrigued by the breakfast a Ohana (Poly). Any others we should consider? What was your favorite?
