what? half the women in this town are married attorneys. no--it's not the kiss of death. me and all of my attorney friends are happily married and had no trouble finding husbands.

No they are f'ing hot. Intelligence, typically know how to handle adversity, can take charge, frequently well dressed, and frequetly love power exchange in bed

Most female lawyers I know are cool people and mostly intelligent, but don't seem to have a lot of warmth. They're no nonsense. Which can be good or bad. I think some men would be intimidated by a really high earning woman as well

No, but I'm not a personal injury or divorce lawyer. That's the kiss of death. I'm an intellectual property lawyer and smart guys kind of like it.

I mean, I'm a married female attorney so it hasn't been that big a problem. I met my husband when I was a junior associate, but I did switch to government in large part because my job did not allow enough time to see him: we'd moved in together but he was home alone. I do know people who feel unable to make room in their schedules for a boyfriend.

I haven't met anybody who says "I don't date attorneys" but I guess I wouldn't have much cause to meet them in that context.
