I hope it has some promise. I banked my son's stem cells to possibly someday help my step son, who is severely autistic and nonverbal. I tried to get him enrolled in a study, but they only accepted children, and my step son is an adult.

It's not a treatment readily available for the public. You'd probably need to enroll in a study.

Hi all,

I'm just starting to read about stem cell therapy for ASD. It seems like there have been promising results from some studies at Duke U. and other places. What are people's thoughts and insights on this? Has any one tried it successfully or unsuccessfully?
