we get it, you hate metro. no need to gin up a bs concern post about the possibility of mold affecting workers.
It's the passengers one should worry about. If Metro workers were more pro-active and less lazy, they would take care of it.

Wait. Are you saying there is mold/mildew/growth that is black in color? That is not black mold. I suppose it could be, but it is not toxic black mold because it is dark. It might not even be mold.

After a week of bad news at Metro, including closing the red line through downtown Washington, a threatened sick-out by Metro employees, the disruption of a Metro board meeting by the Transit "Workers" union local (their chant: "Who moves this city?" honest answer: "Not you!"), now there's more: The Tenleytown Metro has lots of visible black mold, at the bottom of the escalator tunnel and all over the disintegrating ceiling above the farecard area. There's clearly dampness and water damage. One wonders what larger amount of black mold is not visible behind the ceiling. Isn't this a fairly serious potential issue for worker and riders?
