The Indian ones...all of them. They're the only single serve heat and eat meals I buy .

Whatever you do, avoid the chile relleno. It was gross.

Maybe they just don't to Mexican (or "Mexican") well? I don't know how the enchiladas managed to be so gross - even me, who doesn't cook, can make decent tasting enchiladas I think

Spanakopita, the one with ricotta has no animal rennet, serve with hummus and dip veggies and pita chips.

Not exactly prepackaged but I've made the recipe mentioned here before of taking their steamed lentils from the vegetable section and combine it with a jar of bruschetta mix and some crumbled feta. Yum! Serve over salad greens with pita chips or just with the pita as a dip.

I like the green chile tamales as well.

The Chana masala (frozen) heated with an extra rinsed can of chickpeas is also good and shareable.

My husband and I - no kids - recently started eating their frozen sweet potato gnocchi and have found it to be really good. It's the one that comes with a kind of butter sauce - you just heat the whole thing in a pan. It's like 350 calories per portion - two portions per sack - and we eat them with some kind of greens. It's a good dinner!

I've had worse luck with a lot of other TJ's prepackaged foods. I think their enchiladas are deee-sgusting. I bought some of their tofu spring rolls for lunch the other day and found them inedible.

I'm not much of a cook and my husband works insane hours lately, so think of this as an alternative to takeout, not, like, real cooking.

So, wise eaters of DCUM: which vegetarian TJs prepackaged or frozen meals should we try next? Thanks!
