i just told a friend that making just making it into work was all i could do and i thought i deserved a cookie for doing so.![]()
she's just amazing!
I felt this way, too, when I was in my first trimester.
But I really do wonder if she even knew. Seriously, some people don't experience morning sickness. I personally hate those people...ok, maybe not hate, but damn, it is unfair hen I am basically bedridden for a couple months ;P
I can't imagine going through life like this. If you have to have a C-section, do you think it is unfair that some women delivered easily vaginally? If you have kidney stones and have to have them surgically removed, do you think it's unfair that some people could get them treated with medication or ultrasound? If you break a foot bone are you upset when you have to have a cast and use crutches where some people can get by on a walking boot?
It's a medical situation and some people have things easier and some will have it worse. I can't imagine wasting any energy on resenting people who had it easier.

She is amazing. No doubt.
But I actually am curious if she even knew she was pregnant at that point? Some people don't know at 8 weeks, for any number of reasons. Athletes notoriously have weird cycles.
Lighten up. It's shorthand for Twitter posts and Instagram.
