It is 20 minutes to midnight (I live in central time) and I am just now sitting down for the first time all night. During all that, DH came home with balloons for the kids, exercised, had dinner with me, watched tv, answered some work emails. He went to bed about 20 minutes ago after a shower.
I don't even know if I'm posting to ask a question or vent or what, but it's disappointing and frustrating.
Did you tell DH during the day that you were feeling it? Send him a flirty text? Let him know that you wanted him? Not blaming you or him, but if it isn't a regular thing, maybe he'd never know you were thinking sexy thoughts?

If you wanted to have sex, you could have communicated that to your husband. There was no need for all the facetiming, cleaning up and taking care of the kids. Share the workload. Drop the rope.

+1 send him a text before you leave work and let him know what you have in mind and ask him to do xyz. Also decide what must be done. Decluttering and laundry can wait a day or a few until the weekend.

Can Ang if the clutter be left for the next day once in a while? Maybe you can relax your expectations of yourself occasionally. For example, sometimes the dishes can get a quick rinse but be left in the sink overnight, etc.
