Is the Walter Reed site actually under construction? DCI is working on Delano Hall, but is LAMB doing anything at WR or is this like an NFL draft pick that doesn't get used - just traded to another team?

Two different people who work at the school have said this? I am a LAMB parent and have only heard them say in the past that they would like to consolidate. They recently sent an email to parents detailing a plan for next school year that included plans for all three campuses (South Dakota, Missouri, Walter Reed). Seems odd there would be a simultaneous plan to consolidate after just sending out that email.....

As I've heard it, they hope to wrap up a real estate transaction such that they can open in Fall 2018 in a new, single location (NOT Missouri Ave, SD, or Walter Reed). This would not effect the email plan that was sent recently, which is for the Fall 2017 school year. This would mean, among other things, that the new Walter Reed site would operate for only one year (if this is true).

They do, and they are set to open that space this coming fall for 1st-5th graders.

So will they close the Perry St. & Military Rd. schools?

I have not heard this at all, although I do know that their goal has always been to have just one campus for all kids. This building would serve that purpose. And is really centrally located. (and literally around the corner from my house, so this has always been my dream for LAMB!).

I heard from a couple of sources that LAMB is planning to combine its existing campuses at Missouri Ave and Perry Street to one campus that will house all students, starting Fall 2018. Has anyone else heard this? Any ideas or rumors as to where the new location will be?
