Bitchy flight attendants and customer service.

Was there somewhere in the article that they wanted to fly their own staff as this thread suggests? On buddy passes? My cousin is a flight attendant and flies her family everywhere constantly. It bothers me mostly that they fly first class, which means that everyone else with points doesn't get an upgrade.

United Airlines has sucked or years. This is just cherry on top of how awful it is to fly United. When necessary, I pay extra to avoid UA .

Goodness I thought this lost was a little over the top but I read a few articles and watched that video - my word. United sucks.

+1 this is horrific. I agree with a pp, set the incentive high enough and someone will get off the plane. Two round trip first class tix would get me off a plane with my kids in tow.

+1. A doctor going to see patients at a hospital and the way they forcibly removed him, leaving him banged up (and bloody according to the latest). Wow. That's a PR s*hitstorm right there.

Yes, they used a computer to randomly pick people. Apparently this guy was on his way to see some patients so he refused to get off...

They dragged an elderly doctor off a plane because they had overbooked it and wanted to fly their own staff...

I knew they treated their customers like crap, but this is ridiculous. Why not just increase the compensation until they found some takers?
