So very sad. I am not a parent at the school, but have always been so very impressed with the good work the school does in the community and beyond. I hope that all the boys are doing well, and that there was no additional damage to the school or church.

My DS is a senior at Gonzaga, and I must admit that I wasn't initially sold on him attending, especially considering we live 3 blocks from a great public HS where his siblings attended. Four years later and I am so glad he went there. Everything in that article rings absolutely true to his experience with service at Gonzaga and how it has shaped him to be who he is today. Love it.

Yes, very nice article indeed. And, my kids go to another DC catholic HS. So, not a Gonzaga booster parent...
