Np here. Yes! My kids love master chef kids too! Also, Cake Boss but you may not like it for your 8 year old, OP.
I haven't heard of Kids Project Runway.... I'm gonna look it up! thanks.

Annedroids and Odd Squad on Amazon are both great, as are Gortimer Gibbons and Just Add Magic.

I didn't know about the Geronimo Stilton and will try that as well!

Both my 8 yo and my 10 yo LOVED Series of Unfortunate Events. And now the 10 yo has read all the books and the 8 yo is on her way.

Mean girls doesn't seem inappropriate for an 8 year old, though I can understand wanting to watch with her/make sure she takes the right message.

Just Add Magic was a great show. We watched both seasons and are now looking for other appropriate content.

When she sits down to watch something it seems every show pushes some older kid topic like boyfriends and mean girls. My older kids watched Wild Kratts and Peep at this age, but my 8 year old seems pulled to these older topics. I'm not always able to sit with her. Has anyone found a show or two that is 'set it and forget it'?
