That sounds like an awesome option, your child can spend an excessive amount of time traveling to and from school every day, and then be no where near his friends during non-school hours.

Our neighborhood sends kids to lots of different elementary schools, which probably indicates that the neighborhood families have some concerns about the local elementary school. Those families, however, all seem to send their kids to TJ for middle school and Wakefield for high school. The kids I know who are already at Wakefield really love it, and their parents are extremely happy with the school. The principal is particularly highly regarded.
