This looks awesome, OP. I know someone who had been years ago, she said it looks updated, and you can't beat the kids' daily activities. Also, campfires, lake, dining, etc.:

Try Lodge on the Cove. Owned by same people as Hidden Pond but much cheaper. Also LOVED Spruce Point Inn in Boothbay Harbor

Heard about this one on the mid coast but haven't been myself.

If you go further inland, to Sebago Lake, and try Migis Lodge. We have been there for dinner and were impressed.

I second Hidden Pond. So wonderful. And, the food was outstanding.

Migis Lodge! Lovely Dirty-Dancing style family resort with tons of activities and great family-style dining options right on Lake Sebago.

The Samoset is the only resort I know of in Maine.

Maine doesn't seem like a resort kind of place.

We used to go to a family camp when I was growing up, and I'm after something with the same vibe but more luxurious. I prefer the coast (Down East beaches or Mid Coast). Looking for a place with lots of activities, good food, on/near a beach. We are a family of 5 looking to go for two weeks in August. What do you suggest? TIA!
