My DC's experience was not a good one. While many teachers and staff there are well-intentioned, there was also considerable resistance when it came to understanding the behavioral manifestations of DC's diagnosis. A big problem was the disconnect between administrative disciplinary processes and the SPED team. Essentially, the attitude was discipline first, ask questions later.
