OP - you're quite late for figuring camp out. I think you're going to have to go with something less than ideal.
Perhaps a summer babysitter would work better.

OP again. We are still under the weather so I am moving slowly . . .
My husband has some odd issue with chess club and camp - even though he himself loves chess. It is idiosyncratic. The issue is that if I leave camp signup to him, it will not happen. Period. He will not find the sitter either . . . It is a bigger problem but one thing at a time.
I wish Imag. Stage would work but the key weeks I need (those outside of ESY) are weeks with themes my son does not like, e.g. Disney and Frozen.
My son does not want to do Art camp.
TIC's ratio seems great but they are sold out those weeks for all but a couple of themes that are not good fits - e.g. animation.
TLC does not start until the last week of June.
Aristotle does not start until July so only would work for one week, the week of the 4th when we might go out of town - bummer.
KidMuseum has huge groups and a huge ratio even though he would love the STEM focus.
We used to do martial arts but it is now too chaotic for our present state. Also, they do not understand Aspergers at all - maybe ADHD but not Aspergers.

Silver Knights also runs programming camp not just chess camp. Why does your husband not want your DS to do chess camp?

Then your husband needs to figure out what to do or take off work and be with your kid.
Have you looked at Camp Aristotle?

Depending on how much/what kind of supports he needs, look at TIC. They do computer programming/technology for half the day and sports the other half -- but it's "sports" for kids who want to do computer programming -- games like gaga and capture the flag, not at all competitive. The ratio is 1:4 and there are lots of kids (including mine) on the spectrum. But kids work in pairs for their technology project, so that has to work for your child.

Where do you live? In northern va, Stem Excel runs camps that are basically half sports/playtime and half computer game design etc.

Chess camp. Silver Knights has some nice ones.
The current world chess champion, Magnus Carlson, is suspected of having Asperger's so your DS will not be the only kid with Asperger's playing chess.

He is not too sporty because he has hand eye coordination issues - particularly ball sport issues (Dyspraxia, etc.). He can do some sports, but it should not be sport dominated.
Anyone with this profile done SportsPlus camp (looks a bit sporty for us) or Fitness for Health?
Ideally, we need a couple of weeks in June and a couple in August - ruling out TakeTwo (which would be ideal!) and Camp Aristotle. I have a terrible work situation so taking the time off is not an option. He needs supports due to social issues with reading cues, etc. JCC inclusion would have been ideal but I called the first day and it was pre-filled seemingly.
