I heard on the news that the father is in jail in Howard County. If he lives in MC, wouldn't they extradite him back here?

The attorney would not say who is paying for the defense. All he said was that the family hired him. That doesn’t mean that the family is paying him.
It does make one wonder where the money is coming from ... and if the accused man’s father is paying. Looks like he’ll be paying an attorney of his own now.

How does he have the money to pay for his son's criminal defense?

Yes, the round ups are of violent criminal aliens. But if someone else comes to their attention that is breaking the law, what do you suggest, ignore them? Plus I won't be at all surprised if he is found to have had some previous interaction with the law, prior to this.

Local news is reporting Adolf Sanchez-Reyes from Guatemala, has been arrested by ICE for having crossed the Mexican border illegally.

He is the father of one of the 2 illegal alien boys awaiting trial on charges of raping and sodomizing a 14 year-old freshman classmate in the bathroom of Rockville High School.

If found guilty, the father may have to return to his home country, or any other country outside the U.S.
