How to deal with it: get up in the morning, take a shower, put on foot in front of the other, go to work, take care of business. At least go through the motions of life and let time do its job. Real heartbreak you are never truly over as long as you can remember the person.

All good ideas but generally not useful except for exercise. The worst thing to do is sit around and mope. You need to stay very busy so you don't have time to think about it. Every minute you don't think about it is part of the healing.

Cry it out. Music and movies help. Cry until you can cry no more. Then rebuild a new foundation.

Get drunk and get laid. Maybe not the same night, but definitely both

Carrie, is that you?

Exercise, get outside, time with friends and family. And wine.

I start plotting how to find my next love. Relationships aren't meant to last - some do and that's great - but if you go into it, thinking you will enjoy it while it lasts, the heartbreak is easier to deal with.

Anti-depressants worked for me.

Numbed all of my emotional pain pronto.
