I had a weird taste like that. It got grossed over the years. It turned out a capped tooth had cracked and tissue in my gum was rotting. It was disgusting and never showed up on a X-ray. One day the cap fell off and I went to the dentist who took a good look at the tooth finally.

Actually, I don't eat peanuts butter either. But I keep getting this weird taste of peanuts in my mouth when I'm eating something that has NOTHING to do with nuts. Like chips, bread, cookies. even pizza! I don't know those foods taste like that because they never have.

Oh my gosh, I get a 'sweet' taste before I barf. I had a numb tongue and now it feels metallic. Wonder what it could be?

I understand that this is an old forum but I have the constant taste of peanut butter and a horrible stomach pain. The last time I ate peanut butter was a couple weeks ago. The taste is starting to become unbearable and can be tasted when I breath sometimes. I recently stopped using marijuana daily and I am wondering if it might be related as stopping marijuana causes stomach trouble.

This actually sounds rather enjoyable to me, as I love peanut butter, but I can see how it would be unnerving. OP, did you ever find out what it was?

I find that Skippy really sticks to the roof of my mouth. Check for PBJ residue.

Could it be from your throat? Floss and gargle with an antiseptic mouthwash maybe.

I get a lemon taste when I'm about to get sick. Maybe it means something like that - if nothing else a warning about your iron - so you will know going forward.

Up your iron. Most symptoms like this are related to insufficent iron.

And I don't even eat peanut butter. Has anyone else experienced this or know what it is related to?
