skiing sucks right now - it's a weird spring and has caused slush

The snows pretty lousy. We are skiing a basin tomorrow but it hasn't been pretty for the last two weeks. Bare and wet.

PS pack raincoats. If it's just a drizzle it's still worth skiing. If it's torrential rain don't bother.

I was in Denver yesterday. It was 75. Vail was supposed to be in the 50s today. We are skiing elsewhere-it was in the 40s today. Comfortable at the top, hot at the bottom. Wore my normal ski clothes.

Going there tomorrow. I can't seem to get my hands on a good weather report. Weather.com doesn't seem right when I look at a local vail station site, but even that site seems unreliable.

Trying to figure out if it is going to get much higher than 45ish to see if I have to pack a whole other set of clothes for kids!

Weather.com is also showing lots of rain. Grr. Desperate to see if that is true!
