The Catholics aren't in the town as much as they are in the neighborhoods around Holy Redeemer. They are very conservative and cliquey.

In that thread, I read the concern as more of the unknown. With the Wootton option, the future was clear as far as boundaries. With WJ, changes could take place. Some people are fearful of changes that could bring unknown results, even if the results are unlikely to be negative.
