I forgot to mention earlier that this facility is being used by my employer as a back up child care facility. So I will be using it for a couple of weeks or so. My son has a lot of food allergies and I am worried about negligence based on what you have described. But at the same time I don't have a lot option for this temporary circumstance.
I wouldn't worry about food allergies (I'm the pp from before). Most of the parents that stayed after the second director started were parents of kids with either special needs, medical conditions, or extreme food allergies. They stayed because they felt comfortable with the staff there, whereas it would be risky moving to a new center where they may not be as vigilant.
The teachers that stayed were great-- it's really unfortunate the management was so bad and that corporate Kindercare didn't maintain the facility.
