Wait. 72 hrs is not uncommon for bad infections.

I would go back. You should have seen significant improvement after 3 doses.

Take her back .. sometimes they need to switch to a different abx.

I'd take her back or at least call the nurse to ask -- it may be the antibiotic isn't working properly and she needs a different one.

My daughter 10 months was diagnosed with an ear infection wed, her first dose of antibiotics was wed night. 3 doses later she still seems like she is in sooo much pain at night. Last night she was awake from 215-415!!! Despite getting motrin at 215!!! Is this normal until meds kick in? When should we worry?
