I like the meaning of the name Credence more than the meaning of Cadence. I also think of CCR, but I'm also truly old and old enough to know it's spelling Creedence.

But beyond that, I would think it was religiously-inspired. That's not a positive or a negative. Just my second assumption, after CCR.

Cadence is something that happens on a bike. Credence is pretty bad. Sounds like a reach. a far, far, distant reach.

I know a woman, name spelled pride, but pronounced Pree-day. It sounds pretty and I think she's of Indian descent. So may be Credence can be pronounced Crah-den-say like a mashup of credenza and Beyonce?

I hate it. I don't know why, but but reading it has "triggered" me like words such as moist, panties, clot, etc. They make me feel disgusted and uncomfortable.

Seeing some of the responses to Cadence has me wondering how people feel about Credence as a name.
