Yes I worked with a therapist at the Ross center who was an OR nurse before being a therapist - she was awesome and I'm pretty darn calm now!

8YO DC has had several traumatic hospitalizations and surgeries over the last 3 years. I think we are finally done with this issue, but not surprisingly DC has developed such a fear of doctors and medical procedures that even getting a flu shot is seriously traumatic (like, it takes 4 nurses to hold DC still). I'd like to find a therapist with expertise in this area to help work through this (perfectly rational, given past experience!) anxiety. Any recommendations about where to start?
