You get wristbands at check-in and that's how you get into the waterpark.

I love how people will come here and ask for info into a place they are going and posters will trash the place. DCUM never fails me.

To the PP who suggested Massanutten or Kalahari - how are they different?

My DD would love to go back to GWL but I'd be interested in trying something else.

They know the # of waterpark tickets based on your room reservation. The kids also usually get little wolf ear headbands on check in.

But don't worry, there are plenty of other add-ons you will be shelling out for. The extra costs include the Magiquest game (the cost of the wands + the cost of game play + special decorations for the wand), the arcade, anything at the spa, souvenirs, food, etc.

Call them to book. We got about $100 off the room price and a park credit too. They were very nice.

It is pretty dumpy and the entire facility, even rooms smell like chlorine.

I'm not sure your questions have been answered clearly:

1. The room rate includes water park tickets.
2. You cannot go to the water park if you're staying at a different hotel.

Groupon does deals every now and then, but always check the other sites too. We just went last month and it was a little less than 200 a night.

Google a coupon code. They have them all the time.

So, ticket prices are included in the $300 per night rate (which is around what we are being quoted online currently)? I was just checking on Expedia and didn't see any place to say how many tickets we need. Thanks so much for the replies!

You automatically get them and can start using the water park at 1PM day of check in and can use it until closing the day of check out.

Hi,
Sorry if this question seems silly, but it's our first time trying to go to Great Wolf Lodge. If we book an overnight stay there, are tickets to the waterpark automatically included? Or do we purchase them separately at on site? And if so, how much are tickets separately? What's the benefit of staying at the lodge versus another nearby hotel? We are a family of 5. Thanks so much for any help.
