I buy from estate sales and Craigslist. I want period-looking pieces for my tiny house and new furniture is usually too large and too expensive.

Just curious, if a good chair cost on average 100 bucks. Does the chair that cost 790 is 8 times more comfortable?

If I only could afford such a chair, I would make sure I get every bit out of it. Instead of just sit down and stand up,
I would sit down and stand up 8 times each time I approach that chair. That would make it worth the money totally.

Go to 14th street and sit in the chairs. The room and board chairs have better quality leather and are more comfortable.

Chairs are the most important part of our daily life and it should be comfortable. Last year I bought lunch chair. My husband asked me to get more info about the chairs and I checked for it. Later I told him about the lounge chair I liked and he gave me thumbs up, we bought two pairs of it. It's a nice combination of leather and is very comfortable.

You can buy a Sam Moore chair at Belfort for around 500. They are custom upholstered and made in America.

Now, the styles vary, but that is an example.

i need to replace the chair i bought a few years ago at world market. love how it looks but it basically collapsed in the seat. know i need to spend more on a better quality chair. where should i look? liked one or two at crate and barrel but they were $900+. is that what i'm going to have to pay or is there somewhere else to take a look. didn't like what was on line at macy's. pottery barn looked limited and not exactly my style.
