We did not find IB tutors on the fairfax tutor list. We did see science. Looking for IB history too.

I'll look at the FCPS web site -- is that where the "FCPS tutor list" lives? I wasn't aware of such a thing but will seek it out. Thank you!
The application approach is really a good thing in the end, but tough for kids for whom math isn't really their thing.

Math has never been DC's strong suit, ever, and now DC could use a tutor who is familiar with the way IB math works. (IB parents, if you don't know what I mean, ask your IB high school student--the tests are structured a certain way and have expectations of applying math concepts in ways the students haven't always seen before, according to DC.) If anyone knows of a tutor or tutoring firm that has helped your IB high schooler, please post here. DC does study but something isn't clicking this year and I suspect it's the applied concepts that are giving trouble. Thanks.
