Before Bishop Schori was fired she had to sell off all the departing churches as well as the NY headquarters just to cover costs. This is why national cathedral cannot make necessary repairs.

Good point. Mainline Protestantism is shrinking rapidly. I wouldn't be surprised if it became obsolete in our lifetimes.

Anglicanism is mainline protestantism. Of the biggest kind. And it is growing, as is are the protestant megachurches unaffiliated with Presbyterianism, methodistism, etc.

I don't think you understand Anglo-Catholic churches very well.

Anyone know of any conservative (pro-life and pro-traditional marriage) High Anglican churches in DC or NoVa? Anyone on here go to St. Paul's K Street? What's the deal with this church? Some tell me it's a conservative Anglo-Catholic parish, while others tell me it's gone Liberal? Does St. Paul's hold to the traditional position on marriage?
