I doubt these are even real. There isn't anything up on the US News site.

This ranking is a joke for putting Wake Forest ahead of UNC and putting Mason in a tie with W&M. Any Virginia resident who takes Mason over W&M or North Carolina resident who take sWake over UNC is foolish.

other regional law schools such as alabama and ut-austin have their home turf to themselves. they are top dogs in their backyard.

not so for gulc/gw.

i think that plus their large class sizes are going to see their rankings fall in the future

And they're tied with George Mason(aka ASSLAW). I wonder why they dropped so many slots?

Agree this is ridiculously stupid.

Didn't George Mason briefly jump up this list 10 years ago?

Also, happy to see U miami drop so much. We used to live in Miami and the miami lawyers were shockingly low level. Even compared with the U of F students. However, the school was spending TONS of cash, which was all on things to improve their rankings. I don't think the students ever caught pace with teh rankings.

GW (and GULC) probably had to lower their median LSAT to maintain class sizes now that nobody wants to go to law school.

Yes, the rankings are stupid, but they're all this profession has. Everyone knows law school is a joke and teaches you nothing.

GW used to be 20, or at least in the 20s, on a really consistent basis. This has got to hurt.

damn, has GULC ever fallen out of the T14? it's about time. i am in biglaw now but started out in real-deal shitlaw (insurance defense, working for an "and associates" firm as an independent contractor). I worked with multiple GULC grads in shitlaw.

Georgetown is no longer an elite "t-14" http://blog.spiveyconsulting.com/2017-usnwr-rankings-are-here-2/

This is no surprise to the big lawyers working in DC.
