Just venting anonymously about my little green monster. Can't say anything about it to my husband because he interprets comments like that as "complaining."
Okay. Vent over.
eh. nice car, expensive so it comes with it's own set of headaches. Expensive to upkeep, taxes, registration....no thanks.
Be careful in assuming she's so "lucky" though. I would never want to stay home. My DH makes "bank", by our definition at least. I don't need to work - the kids are in school all day and no way would I want to stay home. I went to school for a reason, and I like using my brain and feeling vital and like I'm contributing financially to the future of our family....but that's me.
One thing I know for sure, no one's life is perfect - NO ONE! Some of the most outwardly perfect looking families have some really ugly secrets. Bad marriages, spousal abuse, gambling, husband spends little time at home due to working 80+ hours a week, affairs, unhappy anxious kids etc.
And then the pressure of trying to keep up with the Jones, and save face?! No thanks. I like my simple, quiet and happy life with our two used cars.
