They all still have some. But none have the weekly ones anymore.

Yea my 5th grader had the most from k-, but then they added Fles to the team schools (ASF, Taylor, Jamestown) and they went away. I did like them when my kids were k & 1 because it was a good break for them.

In later years--they made no sense and PIA to schedule work around.

Correct. If this is a concern of yours, though, I'd check out the proposed APS calendar for next year. I believe I heard that there will be more early release days next year, and I think I may have also heard about them doing some on Fridays?

That is correct. No ES have regular early release Wednesdays. There are 5 countywide early releases for teacher professional development.

I don't think any of the ESs have early release Wednesdays every week anymore. They all have them periodically (quarterly - related to report cards maybe?). But I think all ESs now have FLES which took away early release Wednesdays.
