Charities will not use or sell used underwear. They will always toss out any that is donated. Save yourself the trouble and toss it out yourself. They will take underwear that is still in a package.

I put them in the donation fabric bin, along with all of the torn leggings and shirts/pants with holes in them. Worn out ankeaera, too. I figure it is better to let someone turn them into a carpet pad or playground surface than just add them to the land fill.

No. Charities aren't allowed to pass them on. It just gets sorted and thrown away.
