Can't speak to Swanson, but Williamsburg is comparable. I'd say at year-end assembly there might be 20-25 kids on the principal's list (straight As). Honor role (As and Bs) is much higher. Maybe 50%.
Cs are more common than you might expect in middle school, especially in math and world languages.
Jefferson seems to be about the same with distribution of All A's and A-B honor roll.
