Well since they have kids this would not work but I agree with Poconos. Try the Camelback Resort. It has a huge water park and a ton of activities for kids..


Sorry, I wasn't clear. The regular Woodloch is for families. It's on one side of the lake. On the other side of the lake is The Lodge at Woodloch, which is adults only.

I'll vote for Brandywine. Lots of really nice old inns, but if a pool is required, you'll likely have to do a chain hotel.

We live in DC, and are planning to meet up with friends who live in NY. We have 2 kids each (ages 8 and 12), and would like to find a resort/nice hotel located more or less midway. Something in the Philadelphia area, maybe? Must have swimming pool, and hopefully some decent dining options. Something like Salamander would be great.
