I love licorice, buttermints, horehound drops, clove-flavored candy, butterscotch, coffee candies, and circus peanuts. Old people of my family always had these. I didn't like their ribbon candy, or some of the other hard candies.

My husband says I have the candy tastes of a 75-year old. These are my favorites:
Werther's originals
Butterscotch
Buttermints
Andes mints
Strawberry candy with the jelly filling
Peppermint (especially candy canes)
Gummy fruits with the sugar on the outside, like Sunkist fruit gems and gummy orange slices. I don't like gummy bears though.

And my grandmother LOVED Russel Stover chocolates. Even more than "good" chocolate like Godiva or Neuhaus. She'd prefer a box of Russel Stover from the drugstore. So I associate Russel Stover with old people.
