7th & 8th graders in the CPA program have their major (dance, drama, band, orchestra, choir, creative writing, media arts, visual arts, etc.) as a class each day. Kids who aren't in the CPA program can take an art (music, dance, drama, visual arts, etc.) as an elective, which typically is just one semester each year.

I have a daughter in the Creative Writing program, and it's a great fit for her; it aligns well with her interests and is helping to improve her skills. You can only choose to audition for one discipline, so I would suggest picking the one that is your child's greatest love.

My child is interested in applying for the creative and performing arts program. We're looking at a few of the disciplines. Any experiences to share? Recommendations for one discipline over another (specifically dance, tv/media arts or drums)?
