Santiago is a relatively small airport and not that busy, especially compared to BA. Security is usually straightforward, so I would think you could get 6-7 hours sleep at least.

Get a hotel room. That's plenty of time.

Where in Argentina? I recently flew to BA through National via Miami, with a 90 minute layover.

I am travelling alone to a family wedding in Argentina next month. I have an overnight layover in Santiago - arrive midnight, depart 9am. I know there's a Holiday Inn at the airport but I'm not sure it makes sense given that I'll have to go through customs on the way out and security on the way back in - how much time would I actually get to sleep? On the other hand, is it allowed and safe for me to find a corner of the airport to crash for that long? Anything else I should know?
